Comment:Mike - So glad your sweetie Elaine told me about your gig at the Notre Dame Carnival. My daughter and son-in-law thoroughly enjoyed your great sound, as I always do. We were concerned about my 1-yr-old grandson finding the music too loud and the excitement a bit overwhelming. But his reaction to your performance tells us that he is on his way to being a "party animal." He learned how to dance by the bandstand. We couldn't get him to sit down. You've got a good thing going when you can please 3 generations so well! Maybe we can catch you at Weona Park. Hopefully, you'll be up in PenArgyl, the Center of the Universe, again. Best of luck! Comment:We had the pleasure of meeting Elaine several years ago through the Johnny Rivers' Fan Club. To say we've become close friends would be a gross understatement...we've grown to love her like a sister! During all of the concerts we've attended together and our countless phone conversations, Elaine has constantly expressed her love and admiration of her husband, Mike. Yet, his schedule has prevented us from ever meeting him in person. Countless times Lani's asked, as fellow Pennsylvanians, for us to come visit her, Mike and their wonderful children. We live in the northwest part of the state, but this past weekend, we finally took her up on her offer and FINALLY had the PRIVILEDGE of meeting Mike. We played in bands together for quite a number of years. We had a lot of good times and alot of stories to tell. We kind of drifed apart over the past few years because of our own individual obligations and also with my commitment to the U.S. Air force reserve. When i retired from the reserves back in 2000, my commanding officer asked me what am i going to do to occupy my time now that my weekends are free.
